CLARKSBURG EL DORADO COUNTY NAPA VALLEY, CALISTOGA SANTA BARBARA COUNTY > SAN BENITO COUNTY |
![]() |
San Benito County
This is another cool climate mountain vineyard located in the Northern foothills of the Pinnacle National Forest. This vineyard is owned by John Dyson among other choice properties such as William Selyem. It’s ideal for aromatic varietals such as Viognier and Gewürztraminer of which we make a non-botrytis late harvest version. Although we love the Viognier from here, we’re looking to further explore the Central Coast for new expressions of this varietal, stay tuned.

"A 100%-Cabernet Franc from mountainous El Dorado County! This wine’s crazy good with tons of varietal character — woodsy tannins, touch of green pepper, vials of violets — that’s also packed with plenty of great plum, cassis and savory notes of leather and mocha, all in a memorable package. With plenty of grip and acid, enjoyed over a meal, it gets better by the minute and has the depth to age 5 - 10 years, too." - V.B.
