Vinum Cellars is a small California Winery known for producing wines of the highest quality. The grapes are selected from premium growing areas within California. The wines are made by hand to allow the varietal character to express itself.
"This is a vibrant, pale yellow wine which glistens in the sunlight and is the quintessential summertime sipper. The first thought is refreshing after nosing this wine and discovering tropical fruits such as kiwi and casaba melon notes and a touch of linalool and blood orange notes. The palate is completely balanced in its acidity and mid palate allowing a variation of flavors to be revealed: citron lemon, key lime, Pipen apple, fig and Meyer lemon zest. It finishes with honeysuckle, mango, passion fruit and kumquat."

Silken, balanced, accessible, drinkable now, well mannered, subtle smoke tones.
The Vinum Cellars 2014 Petite Sirah punches hard from the bell. This dense, opague wine is the product of warm climate, a powerful grape, and knowledgeable winemaking. Fruit forward from the nose to the finish, this dense wine overflows with stewed black plums, aromatic violets and roses with healthy addition of oak. This is a palate-saturating, teeth-staining wine. Not for the faint of heart the Vinum Cellars Petite Sirah is a wine to break out of the routine of California Cabernet and Zinfandel. If you feel like trying something different on the journey to find a new favorite wine this is an excellent selection to do so.

Vinum Cellars was established in 1997 based on producing value oriented, varietal/appellation specific wines. Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley confirms our belief that only specific grape varietals should be grown within appellations that are ideally suited to the varietal.

Impressive at any price, but especially notable at this cost, this 100% varietal red is a testament to the power and concentration of the vintage, integrated with a push of tannin on the back of the tongue. Spicy clove and pepper ride a wave of cassis, dark cherry and chocolate, needing time to unwind in the glass. It will do well in the cellar through 2028.
92 points, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate "The wine hits the palate with a voluptuous texture, a full-bodied mouthfeel, silky tannins and a long, long finish. At $42.00 a bottle, it is a steal." - Robert Parker

Ripe peach, apricot and pear flavors are rich and unctuous, with toasted spice, vanilla bean and honeysuckle accents. Crisp acidity leads to a fresh finish. Chenin Blanc, Vigonier and Roussanne. Drink now. 500 cases made.—M.W.
The M-80 firework, is extremely loud, explosive and dangerous. The same is true with our M-80 Chardonnay. We select choice Chardonnay grapes from the cool climate of Sonoma County, pick at optimal ripeness and ferment exclusively in French oak and put the wine through 100% Malo-Lactic fermentation. The wine is generous in its vanilla and buttery aromas and flavors which some may describe as extreme, explosive and dangerous.
This is a wine we have wanted to make for about 15 years. The concept is simple, when you choose the right clones of Pinot Noir grown in the best spots and picked at optimal ripeness the flavors that jump out of the glass are easily summed upby the expression “Cherry Bomb”.
