2001 Cabernet Sauvignon, Leaky Lake Vineyard

This is our third vintage which yielded four barrels from 3 acres. Aged in new French oak for 22 months, we produced 97 cases.

Medium brick red color, highly extracted flavors of plum, ripe cherry and cassis with a touch of brown sugar. The palate is rich with Sweet French oak, black cherry, tobacco & light cedar. The supple tannins are well integrated and frame the fruit flavors lavishly  which make the finish long and elegant. The opulent acidity will allow this fine wine to age well through 2025.
