Jim graduated from The University of Texas in the mid-1980s with the perfect degree to begin a liquor sales career, political science!  His first job was in Connecticut working for a very large liquor supplier that had a very small wine division. Their growth plan was to learn the industry then move from the wine division to the liquor division. Obviously, Jim didn’t follow the rules because 35 years later he is still selling wine. 

Jim’s sales & marketing background include positions with Brown-Forman, Clos Du Val, Winesellers and Sebastiani Vineyards, where he met Vinum Cellars winemaker/founder Richard Bruno in the early 2000’s. During this time, he has worked in all 50 states + Canada.
